On-Line Collection: Incidents

The Albany Fire Department has responded to hundreds of thousands of incidents in the past 150 years, but only a select few have any documentation at all.


The fire and aftermath at the Creamery Package Co. on 15th-16th February 1914, located on the corner of Broadway and Hamilton St (310-324 Broadway).

The Madison Avenue fire on 31 January 1965 consumed most of the block, engulfing twelve building between 789-811 Madison Avenue.
